Clear from the beginning
Understand. Organise. Move forward together.
First, we talk. Then we agree what would help, how we’ll work together and where to begin.

Illuminate: understand the work
Tell me about your business, what is taking your attention and what a useful result would look like. We identify the priorities, constraints and information needed before deciding on a scope.
Cultivate: set up the relationship
Agree the deliverables, timing, fees, review points and account permissions in writing. Share only the materials needed for the work; use appropriate account invitations instead of sending passwords.
A task should have a clear owner and a clear next step. Questions and missing information are raised early.
Grow: review and improve
Review the completed work against the agreed brief. Keep source notes with research and distinguish draft content from approved material.
Adjust the support as your priorities change. A useful working relationship makes responsibilities clearer, not more complicated.
Your business remains yours
Purchases, new subscriptions, customer communications and public publishing are never assumed to be authorised by a general request for help.
Technology may assist with organisation, research or drafts where appropriate. Sensitive business information should not be put into a new tool without agreement.
A clearer next step
What’s on your mind?
Let’s start there.
No perfect brief needed. Just tell me what you’re working on.
